Where has the time gone? I don’t know. I have been caring for sick children that past few weeks, even my 18 year old. So glad to see the sunshine, am totally looking forward to the warmer weather. I am so behind on my Project 52 but am determined to see this through. I gave birth to five children, if I can do that I can finish this project!
Week 9’s theme, is HOPE. On March 11, 2011 at 2:46 p.m., Japan experienced a 9.0 earthquake followed by a tsunami that devastated the northeastern part of Honshu. Not a day goes by where I don’t think about what happened and how it has affected our family. It was one of the most scariest things we’ve ever experienced, we were all huddled in our little downstairs bathroom swaying, hearing things fall, seeing my wood plaques swaying too. The radiation concerns, being evacuated, leaving the CDR behind. It still makes me teary eyed. After that, we appreciate life and family more now than ever. Family IS what matters, not trends, not gossip, not the Joneses. So I dedicate Week’s 9 theme in remembrance of all who have been lost and to those still suffering. In this image is a friendship pin that we wear here with pride.
Hope
