Last week was the start of my 52 Week Project that I am taking part in with 16 other amazing photographers. This week’s theme is Shades of Red.
So I had an image in my head, I have a lot of those moments, lol. Usually they get pushed to the wayside, forgotten. Sometimes forever. It’s the lack of time that gets me. I usually get caught up in the everyday mundane that taking the time to do something for myself is not very high on my priority list. Well it should be! So with this project I’ve been allowing myself the time to try to recreate what I see. I took a few minutes throughout the week to brainstorm. I’m extremely happy with my results. So then, it was difficult for me to choose just ONE image. I’m sure some of you can relate especially when choosing images of your children, photo galleries or blogs. They all must be included, right?
Here is my favorite image. The irony behind it was that it was last minute and very spontaneous. I asked J2 to pick up the M&Ms I was photographing. She was also wearing (totally coincidental) her red poppies blouse. Can you believe it? All that planning, lol. Enjoy!
